This is advance notice of our Annual General Meeting.  We have booked the Craft Room at the Sechelt Seniors' Centre for 7:00 PM, Wednesday, March 7th.  An agenda will be sent out closer to the time. 
 
A reminder that we urgently need more Directors in order for our association to continue.  At present there are only three of us, Serge Plannidin having resigned due to time constraints, leaving myself (Michael Siddall), Fern Walker and  Mel Bollivar.
 
Just to keep you informed of our current activities, we have submitted a letter opposing the Stockwell application to apply for a temporary (three year, renewable) permit to build and operate a concrete batching plant in our area (above Allen Rd.), contrary to the Official Community Plan and current zoning.   We will be attending a meeting of the Committee of the Whole this coming Wednesday in support of our opposition to this project.
 
Please contact me if you have any suggestions for the AGM agenda, and please do have your nominations ready for Directors.  This would be appreciated, even if you won't be attending the AGM.
